What Mediums do you work in?
I work primarily in oil paints and digital art. If you would like a different mediums please reach out and ask me first as I can;t guarentee it is a material I am capable to work in or with.
Is all of your work original/ do you use AI?
Everything I create is 100% original work. I do use reference photos, generally from Pinterest or ones I take of myself or my spouse to use as a reference. I will also sometimes photobash before I start a project to help get a clearer image sketched out in the beginning of the project. When I do use a reference from Pinterest, often which are photographs I do try to find the orignal artist/ photographer so credit can be given to them.
I do not, and never will use Ai photogeneraters. I do know that there are aspects of AI in all digital art, and that's not new. Line correction, color autofill, etc are all technically "A.i" tools that have been used in digital art for a really long time, and are tools I use. However, I will not being using AI in the terms of photogenerated art. I have now become extra diligent as well to make sure the reference photos I use from google and Pinterest aren't AI because I don't want to even use pregenerated work. Not even as a reference or inspiration.
How do commissions work?
I do traditional and digital commisions. Each have their own listing in my Prodcut section. Traditional commissions are based on what material is being painted on and the size of the project. The larger the canvas, the higher the price tag, to accomidate things such as shipping. Shipping larger canvases is always a challenge.
Digital commisions are based on how much content is used in the individual piece, as I generally keep my canvas size the same for all projects, unless specifically asked for different dimensions by the client. The more detials, characters, colors, etc, the more expensive the piece will be.
I now also offer special commissions for book covers for Indie authors! Very similar to how my digital commissions work however these are specially formatted to be easily converted into a digital or traditionally published book cover. Other aspects include typesetting, back and front cover art, and audiobook cover art options as well.
